Even though the American public has been always protrayed as lazy, it is amazing to me to see it in real life. Forever I seen us being referred to as fat, lazy, and obnoxious, but I always felt like this was a stereotype. Guess there ARE stereotypes for a reason.

I often heard myself say to prospective employers, and other people, that I enjoy fixing projects and code. That I found some sick joy in the analytical challenge of figuring out why things aren't working so I can make them right.

Ok, I lied.

I am a lover of applications that run smoothly each and every day. I love when projects just work the first time and everytime.

Working in an enviroment that supports Microsoft, I have come to the conclusion that there is NOTHING that cannot be done with SharePoint. Each time I seem to come up with an idea to do in ColdFusion, I am being referred to it. Ya know, just because something is built in one language doesn't mean that it cannot be also done in another.

I know...I know...reinventing the wheel....but I like to control the development of my own stuff so I can customize it my way and be able to tweek it at will. If that were the logic always followed, there would be no FireFox, no Open Office, no PHP, Java, or CF! And who the hell would want that!

So to all you people who shoot down my CF ideas in favor of .NET...bite me! :-)
